Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a male specimen of Xiphydria camelus (Alder Wood-wasp; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Xiphydriidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 357.31 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.76%) is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 19.2 kilobases.
